Examination of how understanding students' social identities and experiences improves dialogue - (Session 3 of 7)

This session covers three main topics: 1. the purpose of class discussion and the instructor's expectations; 2. how the mix of the students' social identities affects classroom interaction; and 3. ways in which faculty can help students develop dialogue skills that lead to a deeper understanding of course content.
