When we think of flipped learning, many of us picture students browsing lecture videos online. Though video can be a useful tool in instruction, it's not the extent of flipped learning. In this interactive session, we will discuss maximizing the potential benefit of flipped efforts through purposeful design. The objectives for this session are to: 1) define flipped instruction, 2) differentiate between a variety of models for flipped instruction, 3) discuss scenarios in which flipped instruction may be a fit, and 4) ideate a model for flipped instruction that fits your instructional goals. #blendedlearning #instructionaldesign #pedagogy #flippedclassrooms
