Game Based Learning

Wenger and Snyder (2000) explain communities of practice as “groups of people informally bound together by shared expertise and passion for a joint enterprise” (p. 139). This particular group will gather to share interest, expertise, and passion for gamified and game-based learning. Faculty experienced with gaming strategies will be present at these conversations as guides. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more, from practitioners, about gamified and game-based learning; discover implementable strategies for their own classes; and become better acquainted with colleagues from across the University

Light Refreshments will be provided
