Specifically, a positive classroom community is advantageous for talking about difficult topics and motivating students to succeed in classes they perceive as hard, boring, or irrelevant to their interests and goals. The workshop will be interactive allowing attendees to learn new strategies and to create other strategies with fellow teachers.
