Active Learning Mini-FLC Series :: What’s the Problem? Exploring Problem-Based Learning in the Classroom (Session 1 of 2)

In this first of the two-part series, we will model problem-based learning (PBL) to explore how it can be used in the classroom to motivate learning and foster critical thinking while introducing students to real-world scenarios.

In preparation for our second session (Friday, 5/18), participants who attended Session 1 will receive resources and mentoring, devising action items for implementing PBL in their courses over a 4-week span along with related assessment/measurement techniques to gauge impact. PBL is adaptable to all course formats or disciplines.
