Explore outdoor and indoor locations suitable for conducting classes A walking investigation into spaces on campus that can serve as nomadic classrooms. Multiple sites on campus will be visited during this 60 minute journey. Prior to the journey The Learning Lunch will start at the Down Under in the UC with a 30 minute discussion on the pros and cons of the Nomadic Classroom. Then the group will explore the campus for outdoor and indoor locations suitable for conducting classes. Nomadic space usage helps engage the students with a sense of adventure, increased physical activity, improved cognitive skills, heightened awareness of the campus infrastructure and the comprehension that learning can occur anywhere. Lunch is NOT provided. Participants are encouraged and welcome to bring along a lunch of their own or purchase something from the food court. Please allow sufficient time to purchase and eat lunch before the journey begins
